Additional Domain Names
(Domain Pointers)

As a Sitebot customer, you can have additional domain names point to your existing Sitebot virtual domain web site account. For example, if you have an on-line clothing store you may wish to have the domain names clothes.com, shirts.com, and jeans.com all point to your account. This is an excellent way to increase your visibility and bring more visitors to your site!

Each additional domain name for your account costs only $10 per month with an initial $25 setup fee.
Additional domain names point to the root level of your account just like your original domain name does. Additional domain names cannot point to a subdirectory of your account.
Sitebot can either register a new domain name or transfer an existing domain name.
Additional domain names will not have their own IP address; they merely point to the address of your existing Sitebot account.
All e-mail addressed to your additional domain name automatically gets forwarded to your default e-mail address for your existing account. You have the option of having this e-mail forward to a specific e-mail address of your choice instead of your default address, or you can set up a POP account for receiving the e-mail. Instructions for doing this are available in our on-line support.
There are no separate usage statistics generated for additional domains. Since additional domain names merely point to your account (just as your original domain name does), statistics are only generated for accesses to your account; there is no distinction made as to which domain name people used to get to your account.

Sitebot will charge you a $25 setup fee and $10 monthly fee for each additional domain name.
The InterNIC (the governing agency in the US) charges a registration fee of $70 for each new domain name, which covers 2 years. After the 2nd year they will charge you $35 per year.
If you are requesting a non-U.S. InterNIC domain name as a pointer (not a .com, .net, .org, etc.) you will be required to register the domain name with the local InterNIC. We do not register these type of domain names. If you have questions about registering a non-U.S. domain name, please email sales@Sitebot.com.
Please note that the information sent to InterNIC will be taken from the information which we have on file in Edit Account Information section of your control panel for the account your are adding the pointer to. You can temporarily change the information in Edit Account Information to the information you want listed with InterNIC and then the next day after the pointer has been added change the information back to the original content. If you are transferring a domain name from another provider, then you need to make sure the company name at the WHOIS is the same as the information in Edit Account Information.
Additional domains are not new accounts, they are merely pointers to an existing Sitebot web site rental account. Domain Pointers will not have their own IP address.
